1) To install your V1 Tech Custom Graphics Card Backplate, we recommend first removing the graphics
card from your PC.
2) If you opt to use the provided magnets for an easily removable installation, first apply the provided
double-sided tape to one side of the magnets by peeling the protective plastic on the tape and sticking
the tape directly to the magnet. Place the magnets onto the tallest screws* on the back of your graphics
card with the tape facing away from the graphics card.
If a semi-permanent installation is desired, apply the provided double-sided tape directly to the tallest
screws* on the back of your graphics card.
*Note: Ensure that as much surface area is covered as possible, start with the far corners of the graphics card and
evenly distribute magnets/adhesive as you work inward to ensure that as much surface area is covered as possible for
a secure installation.
3) Peel the protective plastic on the other side of the double-sided tape and position the V1 Tech Custom
Graphics Card Backplate directly over the rear of your graphics card (double check to ensure that the
backplate is oriented the correct way by aligning with any SLI or PCIe power cutouts if present. Press
down firmly to secure in place.
Install your graphics card into your system.
3) Peel the protective plastic on the other side of the double-sided tape and position the V1 Tech CustomWith every V1 Tech Addressable RGB Mod Part, we currently include 3 modular methods to power and control your lighting.
Method 1: If you wish to control your V1 Tech RGB component with the included RF remote, simply
connect the SATA RF cable to a SATA power cable from your power supply. Connect the other end of
the SATA RF cable to the LED connector on your V1 Tech RGB component.
Method 1: If you wish to control your V1 Tech RGB component with the included RF remote, simply
Method 2: If you wish to control your V1 Tech RGB component with your motherboard RGB control
software, simply connect the included motherboard 5V cable to an available 3-pin 5V addressable RGB
header* on your motherboard. Connect the other end of the motherboard 5V cable to the LED
connector on your V1 Tech RGB component.
*Note: Please ensure to avoid plugging into a 4-pin 12V non-addressable RGB header, this WILL DAMAGE the LEDs
and could result in damage to your motherboard. Refer to the image below for examples of a 3-pin 5V addressable
RGB header and a 4-pin 12V non-addressable RGB header.
Method 3: If you wish to control your V1 Tech RGB component with the CORSAIR iCUE Software, simply
connect the included CORSAIR iCUE cable to a CORSAIR Commander PRO or Lighting Node PRO.
Connect the other end of the CORSAIR iCUE cable to the LED connector on your V1 Tech RGB
component.

Love how the backplate came out. Super easy to install, and love the package comes with the odd Corsair Cue Connector so I could tie it to all my other lighting.
the printing on the card (and the PSU shroud down below it) is crazy perfect . I expected the process would produce somewhat faded images but they came out quite bright.
Being able to provide multiple layers of graphics during the design process is a great option. For me all the pieces tie together well by having the same background space with the various different graphics/logos on top of each piece.
Great work. I’m almost sad I won’t need to be doing this again for a few years (and yes I need to retrain those GPU power cables )

I purchased a custom GPU back-plate for my RTX 2080 that has a tricky back-plate design (see photo), and used their customization tool alongside a stock image to achieve what i can only describe as a game changer, postage was super fast for international shipping (America to Australia) and the product came packed securely and professionally.
V1 tech took the time to look at my very strict description of what i wanted it to look like and followed what i wanted perfectly.
i was very surprised by the high quality matte finish on the custom backplate as i have purchased other products from v1tech and was expecting the standard acrylic finish but i am very very happy with the matte finish as even with a fair bit of handling (and oily fingers) not a single mark with left on the back-plate.
I was also sent two separate power options for my card, i chose the 5v 3 pin connection due to my motherboard supporting it, but tested it out on a 5v 3 pin controller and it sync’ed up with all programs advertised, if you don’t have a controller hub they also supply you with a wireless remote which worked through the tempered glass on my case, the color quality lined up with retailer grade products (and in some cases, was even better).
It is definitely worth trying out V1 tech’s custom service if you are after a more personalized style to your computer for a very reasonable price and a professional service with plenty of options and extra’s to chose from.

Added two of these black plates to my new build Enyo. Was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and ease of installation of these cards. I was then amazed at how bright these GPU plates are! I have used other products in the past to try and replicate the same effect but nothing came close to this level of quality.

false on Spectrum RGB GPU Backplate –
Make sure if you want a completely custom backplate to choose the custom design option, and to not choose “EVGA” and then customize from there, like I did. I received the custom text as I expected, which looked great, but my first backplate came with the standard spectrum background and not the pure black like I had described. After some back and forth with V1 Tech, they sent me replacements for both my GPU Bracket and GPU backplate. I have bought a lot of stuff from V1 tech throughout the years so I am chalking some of this up just to them being a growing company, that still does the right thing at the end of the day.
